Check up!

I went for a check up with the Doc last Thursday! He told me to come back today for some monitoring of the baby (kinda scared me). But when I got there we did the monitoring and he did and ultrasound. He thought I would have to go every week for this but I asked him why and he explained. There are 3 other ladies that he is seeing have the same Factor 2 condition that I have and with working with them and myself they have discovered that me having to take the shots is not necessary, however, they cant stop treatment after starting. So I still have to take the shots, but the good news is if and when we decide to have another child I will not have to take them :)

After the ultrasound and everything he said the baby looked good, that he was good size and weighed 4 pounds and 6 oz. And he said I wont have to go every week like we thought, which made me happy :)

Fair Time

Its fair time in Andalusia.
I remember the fair being a lot more fun just a few years ago. But that's okay.
We enjoyed watching Sam and McKenzie have a good time.
It made me that more excited to know that in just a few weeks we will have one of our own to be able to watch
grow up and Kevin to chase around the fair grounds like Lauren, Misty and Patrick.
Here are a few pictures we took of our precious nieces.

8 Weeks to go!

So last night Kevin and I were talking and all of the sudden he says. "I can't believe we are about to have a baby so soon." I agreed and laughed. There is so much we need to do and get before he gets here. This morning we were piddling around the house and I couldn't find Kevin. Finally when I did this is what I found.
He was putting together the stroller and car seat that my mom and grandmother were so sweet to get for us. Thank you so much Mom and Noona.

Tomorrow starts week 31. Only 8 weeks till due date. This is me and my growing belly.

Tonight was Fall Festival at the school Lauren teaches. So Bella (my mom) and I went so Sam could enjoy some of the fun while Lauren worked her booth. Here are some pictres of the fall fun.

Up to Date.

Here is a quick post to up date everyone on our pregnancy. Today marks 30 weeks and 2 days. (Due date December 15)We didn't find out we were expecting until we were 10 weeks along. Everything has been a simple as can be. Not much morning sickness and didn't have to put up with the heat to bad.

Doctor told us at our last appointment (Oct. 6) that we would have the perfect pregnancy so far if I didn't a small problem with the clotting factors in my blood. Lauren and I both have this problem it just means that our blood like to want to clot more then the average person. Not a problem if we take care of it as doctor says. That being said a shot of blood thinner and a baby Aspirin a day keep the blood clots away.

I was working at the hospital when we found out so I had the joy of getting to see our sweet baby more then the average expecting mother. At 16 weeks we tried to take a seek peek and see what we were having but not wanting to open his legs we didn't get to find out till about 18 weeks that we are going to have a hansom BOY!!

On the 29th we had a 4D ultrasound done to see what our little man looks like, and of course he looks like his dad. We to me he does. Which is ok because I don't think I would be a cute boy. (will upload pictures soon)

That about get you up to date on us. We are growing larger and waiting for December.
